Javni mirni prosvjed će se održati dana 06. rujna 2016.g. (utorak) od 7,30 do 8,10 sati na raskrižju ulica Karažnik i Dubravica.
Razlozi održavanja prosvjeda su prvenstveno nesigurnost i ugroženost pješaka, naročito školske djece zbog neizgrađenih nogostupa u ulici Karažnik i Huzjanovoj ulici od raskrižja sa ulicom Dubravica prema zapadu. Najviše su ugrožena školska djeca koja pohađaju nastavu u jutarnjoj smjeni, jer je promet automobila intenzivan, a kako nema nogostupa, djeca i ostali pješaci prinuđeni su kretati se kolnikom. Nesigurnost i ugroženost višestruko se povečavaju kada pada kiša, a pogotovo tijekom zimskih mjeseci zbog snijega i poledice.
Poseban problem za pješake je prelazak preko raskrižja ulice Karažnik i Dubravica gdje se vrlo učestalo događaju prometne nezgode. Nije dovoljno samo označiti pješački prijelaz.
Slijedeći problem za stanovnike ulice Karažnik koji stanuju od raskrižja sa ulicom Dubravica prema zapadu je kanalizacija. Za vrijeme svake malo jače kiše iskače poklopac šahta od kanalizacije i fekalije nošene oborinskom vodom razlijevaju se po ulici. Ulicom se širi strašan smrad, a postoje i mogućnosi pojave zaraznih bolesti.
Poslije višegodišnjih pojedinačnih zahtjeva i protesta građana i potpisivanja peticija za rješavanje problema u navedenim ulicama prema gradskoj upravi osjećam se prozvanim i pozvanim da organiziram ovaj javni mirni prosvjed, jer i mi smo građani grada Zagreba i ne tražimo nemoguće, već samo ono što smo platili i plaćamo kao i svi ostali stanovnici grada Zagreba.
